Applied Science University makes announcement in honor of deceased student

The Applied Science Private University announced Friday that all exams which were set to be held on Sunday, June 26, will be postponed until Saturday, July 2. However, the university stressed that no change has been made to masters exams which are set to be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

The university wrote on Facebook, “In memory of our late daughter and student.. The university announces mourning next Sunday, corresponding to June 26, 2022, with the postponement of exams on this day until Saturday, July 7, 2022.”

The university also decided to name one of the halls of the Nursing Faculty after the deceased student.

On Thursday, a female student was murdered in Applied Science Private University.

The Public Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court, Judge Ihsan Al-Salamat, decided Thursday to ban publishing anything regarding the case in which a female student was murdered in Applied Science Private University.

Salamat called on the General Director of the Media Commission to circulate to all audio-visual media and social networking sites not to publish any information related to the case, stressing that this would negatively affect the investigation.
