To celebrate the 76th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which falls next Wednesday, the 25th of May, Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh issued an official statement to suspend all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, official universities, municipalities, councils of joint services, and the secretariat on May 26.

The communication also stipulated that the working hours of Wednesday, May 25th, would end at two o'clock in the afternoon, in order to allow citizens to attend the Kingdom's celebrations on this dear occasion in the various governorates of the Kingdom, which will begin at five in the evening.

The notification excluded ministries, official departments and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
