A man in his fifties was found dead inside his house in Irbid, said the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate on Tuesday.

An investigation was launched, and the suspect was found to be the victim's son who was arrested and later confessed to the crime.

The son said he had stabbed his father following financial and family disputes.

The case will be referred to the judiciary, added the spokesperson.
