Talks between Russia and Ukraine 'stalled': Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that negotiations between Moscow and Kiev aimed at finding a solution to the conflict are "stalled," after the talks failed to achieve any clear progress.

Lavrov said the negotiations were "stalled, because a proposal that we presented to the Ukrainian negotiators five days ago and was drafted taking into account their comments, remains unanswered."

For his part, the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, indicated that a new negotiation session was held on Friday.
