Monday, Jordan summoned the ambassador of the Israeli Occupation to Amman, in objection to the events taking place in Jerusalem, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi.

Safadi added that the ambassador was not present in Amman so the acting ambassador will be called to get Jordan’s message across.

During the Parliament session, which was held in the House of Representatives on Monday, Safadi stressed that the Jordanian position regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque and its protection remains the same.

He explained that Jordan has intensified all efforts to confront any measure, especially considering His Majesty the King had led unremitting regional and international efforts.
