Jordan records 18 deaths and 7,861 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 18 deaths and 7,861 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,614,698.

The death toll has risen to 13,785.

The cases are:

-3,707 in Amman

-1,108 in Irbid

-752 in Zarqa

-619 in Balqa

-366 in Mafraq

-249 in Jerash

-245 in Madaba

-196 in Karak

-171 in Ajloun

-143 in Tafilah

-125 in Aqaba

-100 in Ramtha

-52 in Ma'an

-28 in Petra

A total 128 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 164 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 823 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 116,364 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 42,668 PCR tests were conducted.

Friday, 18.42 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 18.53 percent Thursday.
