Jordan records 16 deaths and 7,415 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 16 deaths and 7,415 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,606,837.

The death toll has risen to 13,767.

The cases are:

-3,142 in Amman

-868 in Irbid

-721 in Zarqa

-516 in Balqa

-385 in Karak

-334 in Mafraq

-307 in Madaba

-254 in Jerash

-247 in Aqaba

-208 in Ajloun

-192 in Tafilah

-115 in Ramtha

-92 in Ma'an

-34 in Petra

A total 120 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 163 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 879 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 131,062 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 40,023 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 18.53 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 19.04 percent Wednesday.
