Jordan records 31 deaths and 11,254 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 31 deaths and 11,254 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,582,161.

The death toll has risen to 13,713.

The cases are:

-5,162 in Amman

-1,205 in Irbid

-1,067 in Zarqa

-715 in Balqa

-695 in Karak

-469 in Mafraq

-369 in Madaba

-368 in Tafilah

-356 in Aqaba

-333 in Jerash

-207 in Ajloun

-190 in Ramtha

-98 in Ma'an

-56 in Petra

A total 187 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 202 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,032 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 153,017 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 52,222 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 21.55 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 20.72 percent Sunday.
