Jordan records 28 deaths and 7,064 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 28 deaths and 7,064 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,560,822.

The death toll has risen to 13,657.

The cases are:

-4,225 in Amman

-752 in Irbid

-603 in Zarqa

-393 in Balqa

-198 in Karak

-193 in Mafraq

-176 in Madaba

-124 in Jerash

-122 in Aqaba

-110 in Ramtha

-82 in Tafilah

-55 in Ma'an

-21 in Petra

-10 in Ajloun

A total 178 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 146 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,105 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 179,305 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 38,038 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 18.57 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 21.65 percent Friday.
