Jordan recorded 31 deaths and 17,322 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,526,272.

The death toll has risen to 13,585.

The cases are:

-6,380 in Amman

-2,859 in Irbid

-2,300 in Zarqa

-1,091 in Balqa

-771 in Aqaba

-706 in Karak

-588 in Madaba

-583 in Jerash

-564 in Mafraq

-497 in Tafilah 

-382 in Ramtha

-370 in Ajloun

-146 in Ma'an

-85 in Petra

A total 223 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 246 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,178 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 194,707 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 64,460 PCR tests were conducted.

Wednesday, 26.87 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 26.68 percent Tuesday.
