Jordan records 31 deaths and 17,550 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 31 deaths and 17,550 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,468,360.

The death toll has risen to 13,508.

The cases are:

-5,810 in Amman

-3,516 in Zarqa

-2,577 in Irbid

-1,283 in Balqa

-992 in Karak

-775 in Mafraq

-630 in Jerash

-453 in Ramtha

-374 in Aqaba

-327 in Madaba

-290 in Ajloun

-286 in Tafilah

-210 in Ma'an

-27 in Petra

A total 298 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 168 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,251 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 189,827 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 65,199 PCR tests were conducted.

Sunday, 26.92 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 26.86 percent Saturday.
