Jordan records 21 deaths and 14,048 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 21 deaths and 14,048 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,450,810.

The death toll has risen to 13,477.

The cases are:

-6,998 in Amman

-1,769 in Irbid

-1,108 in Zarqa

-1,096 in Balqa

-1,056 in Jerash

-404 in Madaba

-323 in Ajloun

-275 in Karak

-267 in Ramtha

-241 in Mafraq

-223 in Tafilah

-201 in Aqaba

-55 in Ma'an

-32 in Petra

A total 176 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 180 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,155 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 193,672 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 52,297 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 26.86 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 29.25 percent Friday.
