Jordan records 25 deaths and 18,872 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 25 deaths and 18,872 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,436,762.

The death toll has risen to 13,456.

The cases are:

-8,332 in Amman

-2,443 in Irbid

-1,691 in Zarqa

-1,211 in Balqa

-1,044 in Madaba

-1,033 in Karak

-677 in Mafraq

-633 in Jerash

-597 in Aqaba

-538 in Ajloun

-314 in Tafilah

-172 in Ramtha

-122 in Ma'an

-65 in Petra

A total 219 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 241 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,183 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 192,581 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 64,528 PCR tests were conducted.

Friday, 29.25 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 29.42 percent Thursday.
