Jordan records 27 deaths and 21,626 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 27 deaths and 21,626 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,351,733.

The death toll has risen to 13,347.

The cases are:

-9,209 in Amman

-3,082 in Irbid

-2,058 in Zarqa

-1,708 in Balqa

-1,202 in Karak

-791 in Ajloun

-696 in Mafraq

-694 in Jerash

-664 in Aqaba

-657 in Madaba

-321 in Tafilah

-280 in Ramtha

-201 in Ma'an

-63 in Petra

A total 267 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 225 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,209 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 145,251 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 71,294 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 30.33 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 27.34 percent Sunday.
