Jordan records 13 deaths and 17,893 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 13 deaths and 17,893 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,260,983.

The toll has risen to 13,248.

The cases are:

-7,954 in Amman

-2,927 in Irbid

-1,495 in Balqa

-887 in Karak

-700 in Aqaba

-541 in Jerash

-512 in Mafraq

-504 in Ajloun

-486 in Madaba

-446 in Ramtha

-306 in Tafilah

-83 in Ma'an

-26 in Petra

A total 228 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 170 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,019 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 108,993 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 62,743 PCR tests were conducted.

Wednesday, 28.52 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 28.71 percent Tuesday.
