Jordan recorded 18 deaths and 7,691 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,184,856.

The toll has risen to 13,142.

The cases are:

-2,901 in Amman

-1,566 in Zarqa

-1,101 in Irbid

-557 in Balqa

-355 in Mafraq

-223 in Madaba

-219 in Jerash

-207 in Karak

-202 in Ajloun

-167 in Aqaba

-103 in Ma'an

-70 in Ramtha

-17 in Tafilah

-Three in Petra

A total 149 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 132 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 730 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 76,198 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 34,119 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 22.54 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 22.54 percent Wednesday.
