Sunday, Director of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory, Ghassan Sweidan, said that a new earthquake struck the western Irbid region, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, in the same place of the previous ten tremors that hit the region from Saturday night until Sunday morning.

Sweidan told Roya that the tremor occurred at 12:28 pm today, Sunday, and was felt by residents of western Irbid, with a depth of 5 km.
