Jordan records 19 deaths and 2,170 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 19 deaths and 2,170 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,074,007.

The death toll has risen to 12,810.

The cases are:

-1,177 in Amman

-279 in Irbid

-197 in Zarqa

-111 in Balqa

-108 in Mafraq

-65 in Madaba

-55 in Jerash

-52 in Karak

-38 in Ajloun

-35 in Ramtha

-28 in Aqaba

-22 in Ma'an

-Three in Tafilah

A total 95 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 87 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 731 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 26,054 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 36,626 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 5.92 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 5.57 percent Wednesday.
