Approximately 70 head of livestock in the Karama area of the Southern Shouneh died suddenly, according to a livestock breeder in the area.

The owner of the livestock said that the reason of death was "drinking from swamp water, about 400 meters away from a palm farm."

Speaking to Roya, he added that the security services and the Ministry of Agriculture rushed to the scene to find out the causes of the accident and take water samples to check if there are any fertilizers or toxins.

Investigations have been launched.
