Roya Media Group mourns the late Jordanian artist Ghassan Al-Mashini
With sadness and sorrow, the head of the Roya Media Group, Michael Al Sayegh, the CEO of the group, Eng. Fares Al Sayegh, and all the group’s workers are mourning the loss of the great Jordanian artist Ghassan Al-Mashini, who left the world Saturday at the age of 69.
Al-Mashini recorded some of the most beautiful artistic works and established the foundations of Jordanian art, putting Jordan on the map of Arab drama.
Roya Media Group and all its employees extend their most sincere expressions of sadness and sympathy to Al-Mashini's family and the greater Jordanian community.
The late artist Ghassan Ishaq Odeh Al-Mashini was born in 1952 to a Jordanian artistic family. His father was radio broadcaster, Ishaq Al-Mashini, and his two brothers are artists Nabil Al-Mashini and Osama Al-Mashini.
He received a BA in Theater from Cairo in 1980, and is a member of the Jordanian Artists Association.
Some of his most notable works included A Hard Life; the Abu Awad series; and Al-Manahil, among several others. He also directed several plays and other works.
The late artist's last work was his satirical weekly political program, Qahwet Alhoreyya on Roya TV.
