The Minister of State for Media Affairs, the official spokesperson for the government, Faisal Shboul, confirmed that Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh is currently in quarantine.

Shboul said in a statement to Roya, that Khasawneh decided to isolate himself as a precautionary measure at home, after his son and daughter were infected with the virus.

Shboul added that the PM’s agenda is free on Saturday, and that he is awaiting the results of his PCR test.
