Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh stated during a Cabinet session that the government's meetings at the World Economic Forum in Davos have demonstrated that the comprehensive political, economic, and administrative reform project led by His Majesty King Abdullah II is highly regarded by various international institutions and circles of international decision-makers.

Al-Khasawneh reiterated the necessity of taking the necessary measures to address the potential inflationary impacts of developments in the Red Sea region, including the implementation of the decision to set a customs cap on the value of containers based on their price before Oct. 7, 2023, until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

He added that the Kingdom's stock of essential goods is abundant, and noted that the goods in both Civil Service Consumer Corporation and the Military Consumer Establishment will stay at their current prices until the end of the holy month of Ramadan - due to the strict control measures set in place.
