Around 85 Jewish extremist settlers early Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied East Jerusalem.

A statement by the Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem said that dozens of radical settlers carried out raids from Al-Magharebah Gate in groups under heavy protection of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), and provocatively toured the mosque's yards.

The IOF imposed tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa, and seized their ID cards in order to secure the settlers' storming.
