Jordan recorded six deaths and 573 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 840,117.

The death toll has risen to 10,865.

The cases are:

-152 in Irbid

-56 in Zarqa

-45 in Aqaba

-41 in Balqa

-24 in Ma'an

-17 in Ramtha

-16 in Karak

-15 in Mafraq

-13 in Madaba

-Eight in Tafilah

-Six in Ajloun

-Five in Jerash

A total of 62 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 45 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 492 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 14,872 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 18,190 PCR were conducted.

Saturday, 3.15 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.68 percent Friday.
