Thursday, a Moroccan young man killed his 54-year-old mother in Italy.

According to reports, the 20-year-old offender, Younes, fatally stabbed his mother, before fleeing to an unknown location.

A source said that the victim lived with her husband and two children.

Her husband found her dead inside the bedroom in a pool of her own blood.

The authorities are currently searching for the son to locate his whereabouts.

The son, reportedly, suffers from mental issues and is staying in Italy illegally.

Investigations have been launched.
