Monday, a member of the National Committee for Epidemics Bassam Hijjawi told Roya that Jordan is considering giving a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine to everyone.

Hijjawi added that Jordan has already started giving the booster dose to people with weak immune systems.

He stressed that receiving the coronavirus vaccine is the only way to limit the spread of the virus.

Jordan recorded eight deaths and 1,075 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 814,676.

The death toll has risen to 10,624.
