Sunday, investigations indicated that an infant died in Zarqa as a result of being left alone in a car.

Monday, the results of the autopsy revealed that the cause of death was milk aspiration.

The forensic medicine department at Prince Faisal Hospital conducted an autopsy by order of the Public Prosecutor of Rusaifa, Zarqa, where a medical committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Bani Hani with the participation of Dr. Alaa Al-Tusi and Dr. Ibrahim Habash.

Roya learned from a source close to the investigation that the mother, who works in a government institution, was forced, for the first time, to take the baby with her to work as her babysitter was unavailable.

At 11 am, she remembered that she had forgotten her baby in the car without ventilation.

The baby was found unconscious. Officials later pronounced her dead.

The Public Security Directorate warned citizens, through an awareness video, that even a few minutes can endanger a child's life if left alone in vehicles, especially during the summer, due to the hot weather that leads to heat suffocation with the lack of oxygen and high temperatures.
