Monday, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs Najwa Qubailat said that a total of 4,000 teachers and health supervisors across the Kingdom will be trained on how to conduct a PCR test and many other health protocols.

She explained that the Ministry of Health will ensure that all schools in the Kingdom are provided with the necessary equipment to conduct PCR tests.

Qubailat indicated that if a student tests positive for the coronavirus, the student must home-quarantine for a period of 14 days, in addition to that the student will switch to distance learning.

She stressed that schools must adhere to the required health and safety measures, which include social distancing and wearing face masks during the class.

She lastly added that the ministry allowed students with a low immunity system to continue studying online through the Darsak platform, noting that the student's exams will be on the school campus.
