Sunday, the Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, issued a new circular requiring dental clinics affiliated with the Ministry to require patients to present a vaccine certificate or a negative PCR test, starting Aug. 5.
The circular, which excludes emergency cases, stressed that the certificate must show the patient is fully vaccinated (both doses, and two weeks having past since the final dose) and that the period for conducting a PCR examination should not exceed 72 hours for those over the age of eight.
The circular comes amid an uptick in coronavirus cases in the Kingdom.
