The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) announced that since Wednesday morning, more than 4,000 citizens have registered to receive the booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

The Ministry of Health announced Tuesday that it will give a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to those who received two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. The decision includes citizens who have registered on the platform designated to receive requests for Jordanians residing and working abroad for entering some countries.

Since the beginning of the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Jordan on Jan. 13, more than 2.6 million received the first dose of the vaccine, while approximately 1.8 million received both doses of the vaccine.
