Saturday, the Secretary-General of Epidemiological Affairs at the Ministry of Health Adel Al-Belbisi revealed that a total of 167 cases of the Delta COVID-19 strain have been detected in Jordan.

Belbisi told Roya that four people died following their infection with the Delta coronavirus strain.

He said that the four cases were over 70 years old, indicating that they had not received the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
