Inspection teams from the Ministry of Labor issued 141 fines for facilities that did not comply with Defense Order No. 26 and other health protocols. The ministry also shut down a swimming pool and three shisha cafes for serving shisha indoors.

Wednesday and Thursday, inspection teams carried out 616 field visits in the capital and the rest of the kingdom, according to the ministry's spokesperson Mohammad al-Zyoud.

He explained that 62 violations were related to not hiring a health supervisor as required by the law and 79 others for non-compliance with wearing face masks.

Zyoud noted that routine inspections are ongoing across the Kingdom to ensure compliance with Defense Order No. 26 and other health protocols among individuals and establishments.
