The Mafraq Health Directorate carried out Wednesday, a vaccination campaign for workers in factories and industrial companies in Mafraq in order to aid the Ministry of Health's target to immunize the Kingdom in the swiftest manner possible.

The number of vaccine recipients for the first dose in the Mafraq has reached 63,000, while those who received both doses totalled to 33,000.

Wednesday, 200 factory workers received the coronavirus vaccine.

Earlier Wednesday, in efforts to bolster vaccination efforts, the head of the coronavirus portfolio Adel al-Belbeisi said the Ministry of Health made the decision to vaccinate a 'very limited group' of people under 18 years of age and based on specific conditions.
