Tuesday, a member of the National Committee for Epidemics Bassam Hijjawi said there are one-dose vaccines, two-dose vaccines and booster doses based on studies of coronavirus antibodies.

He told Jordan TV that so far countries have not mixed doses of different COVID-19 vaccines, as both doses have been available.

He pointed out that the Sputnik-V vaccine's second dose differs from the first, therefore it is not possible to mix it with a second dose of another type of vaccine.

He noted that studies are being conducted in some countries regarding other vaccines that are believed to make up safe combinations.

He stressed that Jordan has not allowed administering a different vaccine for each dose, noting that research is ongoing to make a decision which will be based on scientific evidence.
