During an inspection tour of Karak Saturday, the Minister of Health Feras Al-Hawari emphasized the need to develop a mechanism for providing the Kingdom’s health centers with medicines.

However, Hawari indicated there is no medicinal shortage issue, noting there is merely a defect in the distribution mechanism for these medicines.

This mechanism needs to be developed to ensure that medicines reach the centers at the right time and in the correct quantity.

Hawari said the ministry will begin working towards supplying the Karak medical sector with all its needs in terms of cadres, specialists, technicians and equipment to provide the best service to the citizens.

Additionally, he said that work is also underway in the Ministry of Health to identify all the needs of the health centers across the Kingdom.

Hawari pointed out that there is a plan to study the reality of the health centers in Jordan and the possibility of integrating some of them, especially those geographically close to one another, in order to improve the quality of health services provided to citizens.

This visit to Karak comes with the aim of reviewing health services in Karak, in order to identify the most prominent challenges and needs facing the government health sector and to provide them with all they need, according to what Hawari confirmed.
