Friday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from Bab Al-Silsila, with their provocation ensuing confrontations with Palestinian youth.

According to Palestinian media, injuries were recorded among the worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque after the IOF suppressed a march in support of the Prophet Muhammad.

The IOF continued to suppress worshipers.

The march was organized by Palestinian youth in occupied Jerusalem Friday, in response to the racism witnessed during the Flag March wherein settlers were chanting slogans against Islam and “Death to Arabs,” among other racist cries.

The Israeli Occupation government Tuesday gave the green light for the Flag March to take place.

Young Jerusalemites called for the march from Al-Aqsa Mosque to Bab Al-Amoud following Friday prayers.

On the other hand, a number of Palestinian youth organized Thursday a similar demonstration in Bab al-Amoud in response to settlers insulting Islam, Palestinians and Arabs.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intervened to suppress them, using stun grenades and skunk water.

They arrested a number of Palestinians.

Israeli Occupation provocations raised more tension in Jerusalem, while Palestinian calls for protesting the city and the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque were repeated.
