Tuesday, His Majesty King Abdullah II held talks with a number of world leaders to discuss Israeli Occupation aggression.

During his call with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, His Majesty noted that the tragic developments in the Palestinian territories are the result of recurrent Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.

His Majesty also held talks via telepresence with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and France's President Emmanuel Macron, during which he stressed the need to protect Palestinians, stop the Israeli Occupation's illegal violations and actions in Jerusalem, as well as end the aggression on Gaza.

His Majesty said that preventing the repeated Israeli Occupation's escalation and stopping the cycle of violence require reaching a political solution to the Palestinian issue.

His Majesty stressed the importance of the international community’s role in stopping the dangerous and recurrent violence and violations by the Israeli Occupation.

Jordan will continue its efforts and coordination with Egypt, France and other partners to put an end to the Israeli Occupation's attacks, restore calm in the Palestinian territories and push the peace process forward, His Majesty added.

His Majesty affirmed that Jordan will continue to provide all means of support to the Palestinians.
