Britney Spears fans rallied in Los Angeles this week ahead of a hearing in the star’s conservatorship case.

Spears is currently pleading a court to rid her of her conservatorship, which placed her father in charge of all her affairs for more than 10 years.

The conservatorship was awarded when Britney was going through mental health struggles.

Her bid to remove the conservatorship was denied last year, but hopes are high that with increased media attention, it will be removed this time around.

Tuesday, a judge approved Britney’s request to speak in court herself. 

"We got some big news. Britney's attorney let the judge know that Britney wants to speak in court,” said a fan.

“This is something we've been wanting for a while, we want Britney to be able to have a voice and to speak for herself within that courtroom."
