Sunday, the total number of coronavirus infections worldwide has risen to 140.8 million, according to the latest statistics released by Johns Hopkins University's coronavirus resource center.

On their website, the latest data available showed that the total number of coronavirus cases reached 140,887,145 at 7:54 pm local Jordanian time, while the total number of deaths rose to 3,013,818.

According to the data, those recovered from the virus reached 80,402,368.
