His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday made a phone call to His Highness Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, in which he offered his condolences on the death of His Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

On his behalf and on behalf of the people and government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Britain, and to His Highness, the royal family and the friendly British people.

In the call, His Majesty affirmed the depth of friendship between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United Kingdom.
