Government to announce new COVID-19 measures for Ramadan Monday

Saturday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the government, Sakher Dudin said that the government will announce Monday new COVID-19 measures that will be implemented during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Dudin told Roya that one of the measures is to allow some prayers to be performed in mosques. However, worshippers will be allowed to go to mosques only on foot.

He pointed out that Tarawih prayers will not be held in mosques during Ramadan.

He explained that among the other procedures that could be announced is to allow the delivery service to continue until dawn hours.

Dudin lastly added that other measures regarding tourism facilities will be also announced Monday.
