Jordan records 26 deaths and 6,068 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 26 deaths and 6,068 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 397,158.

The death toll has risen to 4,727.

The cases are:

-3,526 in Amman

-654 in Irbid, including 28 in Ramtha

-581 in Balqa

-505 in Zarqa

-174 in Madaba

-126 in Jerash

-124 in Karak

-101 in Ajloun

-95 in Mafraq

-78 in Aqaba

-67 in Ma'an, including 12 in Petra

-37 in Tafilah

A total of 264 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 165 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 41,175 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 2,657 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 351,256.

There are 1,597 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 41,029 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,641,226.

Monday, 14.79 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
