The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that a report had been received by the Civil Defense Operations Room in Amman stating that there were two cases of drowning inside an agricultural pond in Al-Juwaida, northwest Amman, and upon arrival, the deceased were identified as two children of Arab nationality.

The children were aged three and six, and were evacuated to Al-Totanji Governmental Hospital.

Investigations into the incident are currently underway.

On the other hand, ambulance teams in the west Irbid Civil Defense Directorate dealt with the injury of three people who suffered from shortness of breath after inhaling gases emitted from a gas cannister inside one of their homes.

First aid was provided by dispatch teams and they were all transferred to Princess Basma Teaching Hospital. Their health condition is moderate.
