Thursday morning, the supplementary exam results of the high school examination, Tawjihi, were announced by the Ministry of Education (MoE).

The first supplementary exam session began Dec. 31, 2020, and ended Jan. 16, 2021.

The number of students who participated in the Tawjihi supplementary exams reached 95,451, including 56,909 school students, and 38,542 from private studies such as home-school, according to the MoE.

The overall pass rate in Tawjihi was 58.7 percent.
