Tuesday, the Minister of Interior Samir Mobaideen decided to approve the strategic plan for the years 2021 to 2023, which was prepared in participation with all concerned planning authorities for strategic planning.

In press statements, Mobaideen said that the plan was formulated using a comprehensive analysis and studied vision, mission and core values.

The plan included institutional goals, programs and future projects which will be monitored and evaluated periodically through clear performance indicators and within a specific time frame over the next three years.

Additionally, strategic objectives have been defined which the ministry seeks to achieve in line with national goals and priorities, he added.

According to Mobaideen, the plan aims to contribute to achieving national security and to contribute to the national development effort by improving services provided to citizens, raising the efficiency of employees in the ministry, and enabling participatory practices, good governance, integrity, transparency and rule of law.
