Temperatures will drop Wednesday with rain expected across the whole Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Weather is expected to get colder at night and rain will intensify all over the country. Heavier showers are expected in western parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder, hail and flooding in low-lying areas. Moderate westerly winds will be active, the JMD added.

Temperatures in Amman will range between 14  degrees Celsius and 9 degrees, while in Aqaba temperatures will reach 24 degrees during the day and 14 degrees at night.

Thursday, similar weather conditions are expected with lighter and scattered showers. Later in the day, rain is expected to stop, weather conditions will stabilize and fog will form in mountainous and desert regions.

Friday, weather conditions will remain cold across the country, except for Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with light eastern winds.
