The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply issued 42 official warnings against stores for non-compliance with the fixed prices set by the government for fresh produce Tuesday.

Thirty-five complaints have been submitted by citizens regarding overpriced of vegetables: three complaints against supermarkets and six complaints against bakeries for the lack of large bread. An additional 13 complaints have been submitted via WhatsApp reporting establishments' failure to adhere to fixed prices.

The ministry conducted inspections to address all complaints and take action against violating establishments.
