Four deaths, 582 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded four deaths and 582 new COVID-19 cases, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Thursday.

The deaths were reported in Qalqilya, Nablus, Tulkarm, and Hebron.

The recovery rate stands at 87.79 percent, while the active cases rate is 11.36 percent and the death rate is 0.85 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 48 in Hebron; 102 in Nablus; 45 in Bethlehem; 13 in Qalqilya; 44 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 24 in Jenin; 16 in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; seven in Salfit; 20 in Tulkarem; seven in Tubas; 248 in Gaza Strip; and eight in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

The recovery cases have been recorded involving 98 in Hebron; 73  in Nablus; 32 in Jenin; 28 in Tulkarem; five in Qalqilya; eight in Tubas; 14 in Salfit; and 198 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 40 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and nine are on ventilators.

A total of 5,448 PCR tests have been conducted.
