312 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 312 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai al-Kileh, on Saturday.

Al-Kileh added that no new coronavirus deaths were recorded in Palestine for the first time in 52 days.

However, the recovery rate stands at 87.5%, while the active cases rate is 11.7%, and the death rate is 0.8%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 39 in Hebron, 49 in Nablus, 45 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jenin, 10 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 14 in Qalqilya, one in Tubas, 12 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 36 in Tulkarm, 86 in Gaza Strip and five in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

A total of 156 recovery cases involved: 84 in Hebron, 29 in Jenin, three in Tubas, four in Salfit, 16 in Tulkarem, 20 in Nablus and 85 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 40 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and six are on ventilators.
