"Health security is an integral part of national security", said the Minsiter of Health, Nathir Obeidat, on Friday.

"This stage requires solidarity and team work to maintain the physical, psychological and social health of the people of Jordan," he tweeted.

He said he was honoured by the issuance of the Royal Decree assigning him the portfolio of the Ministry of Health during these difficult circumstance.

"I hope that I will meet your expectations," he added.
